Eventually, everyone you know and love is going to die. Not to be a downer, but the circle of life stops rolling for no one. Though just because our loved ones may pass away, are they ever really gone?
That's what a recent conversation on Twitter would suggest, anyway. It all started when Twitter user @Vandalyzm shared a sweet, yet undeniably spooky story that sounded like something literally straight out of The Twilight Zone.
"My daughter is currently giving my grandmother, her great grandmother a tour of my parents' new home," wrote the self-described Blasian vegan CrossFit junkie. "My grandmother passed in '93."
"Won’t lie, almost cried," he added.
The story inspired others to come forward with their own supernatural tales of loved ones reaching out from the great beyond. In some cases, the stories likewise involved grandparents reaching out to their grandchildren. Others, however, recalled family members appearing to warn them of impending danger and life and death situations.
Do you believe these stories? Or perhaps, maybe you've even experienced something like this yourself?

Grandpa died when I was 10. Missed him so much. Month of dreams where I would walk through a cemetery & then wake up. Each night I would walk further. The last night I walked to a grave and looked up and there was my grandpa. He smiled. I woke up. He walked me through my grief.

When I was young me and my brother went to the same daycare (he’s 8 years younger). One day we pulled up to the daycare and my brother (1.5y/o?) starts WAILING and refusing to get out of the car. Got inside and his fav worker had passed away the night before.

My aunt said her (deceased) husband woke her up in middle of the night to tell her she had to get the whole family outta the house. Everyone was dead asleep except dog who started barking after she woke up. Turns out they had a carbon monoxide leak. Her waking up saved them all.

My grandfather saved my life from a tree falling on our house when I was 8. He woke me up and told me to get under the bed. I asked how he got there cause I just went to his funeral the day before. I remember this as vivid as yesterday.

That is DOPE. I have a baby cousin (about 3 or 4yrs old) who talks openly to my grandparents that are deceased, whom he’s never met all of the time. I believe children see clearly into other realms.

When my daughter was 2 I found her under the table with one of my husband’s old children’s books, turning pages as if she were being read to. I asked her what she was doing. She said “reading with Grandma” my husband’s mother died two years before she was born. It was her book.
