On Sunday, Kanye West shared Drake’s home address on Instagram. If Drake were a more private person, that would be a much more serious offense. It’s called “doxxing” when a troll on Reddit does it. The only redeeming fact that helps the situation is that most people do know where Drake’s house is in Toronto, if they want to know.
So, what inspired this move from Ye? Well, the two have a bit of a past already, but the most recent issue was Drake’s feature on Trippie Redd’s album Trip at Knight.
On a song called “Betrayal,” Drake went on the attack on Kanye and Pusha T, XXL Mag reports. Here are some of the lyrics:
“All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know / Forty-five, forty-four (burned out), let it go / Ye ain’t changin’ s*** for me, it’s set in stone.”
Kanye still has Drake’s number, because soon after, he posted a screenshot of a group chat he made that includes Pusha T with a Joker meme in it and the words, “I live for this. I been f—ked with by nerd ass jock n—a like you my whole life. You will never recover. I promise you.”
Soon after, the doxxing came:
Is this Drake’s response?
This is a very weird thing to do, and even Kanye fans are questioning the move. Could it be that they both have albums coming out soon? And bad press is still press?
