On Friday, the Colonial Pipeline Company was hit by a cyberattack that forced the company offline, causing the potential threat of gas shortages in several states, Forbes reports.
What’s causing the actual shortages is people panic-buying gallons and gallons of gasoline they don’t need, even though the company has said the supply chain should remain fine for a week.
Granted, that’s not forever, but there’s a lot of money riding on a gas company. They’re gonna figure it out quickly. But trying to reason with people after over a year of feral pandemic living just doesn’t work.
A viral video of a man and woman completely losing it on each other at a North Carolina gas station is pretty crazy to watch, but I bet similar stuff is happening all over the country. The footage was taken in Knightdale, N.C., at a Marathon franchise. The man who recorded the footage, Rashaad, told WRAL that it started when the woman tried to cut in line and no one would let her in.
She seemingly tried to ram her Honda into the line, and ended up being particularly mad at one driver, who she SPITS ON:
Not sure what she expected next, but he got out of his car to spit right back in her face:
And a fight ensued:
One that included shirt ripping:
And phone kicking:
They continued fighting until the police arrived, though no reports were filed about the altercation.
The Internet, however, had filed it away forever. Stop spitting on people when you’re angry, it is not a neutral gesture and you will catch all the smoke.
