Over the weekend, a teen fan of Floyd Mayweather approached him at a Clippers vs. Grizzlies game at the Staples Center. He wanted to grab a photo with the famous boxer, who had been taking photos and greeting people in the stadium, according to TMZ Sports. But when Mayweather caught a glimpse of the boy’s nails and saw they were painted, he refused to take a pic.

Why? Because he’s homophobic as hell.

“You got painted nails, I don’t take pictures with guys with no painted nails,” Floyd says in the clip and his bodyguards get in the kid’s way as well.

The teen then speaks into the camera, saying, “Floyd doesn’t want to take a picture with me because my nails are painted. Bruh, really?!”

I don’t believe you can tell someone’s sexuality based on how they decorate the keratin growing from the tips of their finger bones. But looking at this kid’s chipped, poorly painted black nail polish, it’s even more ridiculous that Mayweather assumed he was gay. Maybe the boxer hates goths, too? What else is on the list for the no-picture rules? What if someone seems gay to Mayweather, but they’re dressed exactly the same? Tough call for arbitrary hate.

Mayweather has really been knocking it out of the park lately with the awful ideas, posting an anti-vaccine message in support of Kyrie Irving:

And let’s not forget his extensive history of domestic violence, even though it sure seems like the rest of the world has. Guess punching one of the Paul brothers in the ring helps clean a lot of people’s slates.
