About 80 percent of all trends on social media are about showing off how hot you are, and I’m not mad about that. Why not? Let people celebrate themselves, life is hard enough as it is.
Erica Banks has given people a chance to show off how they go from Not to Hot with the Buss It trend, named after her new single.
The catchy hit samples Nelly's "Hot In Herre" and has been playing everywhere, especially on TikTok.
Once something gets to TikTok it'll be on every other social media platform. In this trend, people show how they look in their everyday clothes dancing around at home and then drop down. When they hit the floor, they're in their best outfits, makeup and hair done, and bouncing around. If you can't actually do it in a club, do it in the kitchen and post it for everyone to see.
Banks even did her own version as the trend took off:
It's pretty satisfying and it does not get old:
They're addictive.
It's just fun to watch people feel good about themselves and their bodies and also...they're sexy.
There are some guys out there doing it, too, because they also want to shake their ass:
And there have been some variations as the Buss It challenge continues. Things can't be sexy forever, sometimes we need jokes:
That one actually might be the hottest.
