It’s hard to tell if he’s just joking, but 21 Savage may be planning a whole new career, in the event being rich and famous from his music doesn’t pay off. HotNewHipHop reports the rapper commented on a viral tweet about how there is currently a pilot shortage, which means being a pilot really pays off.

The original tweet was shared by @sayproduceralli, who wrote, “Apparently there’s a pilot shortage going on so now, apparently, they’re paying new hires $247 an hour.”

It’s been shared over 5,000 times, which means that probably a lot of people are going to be considering a change of job. The tweet eventually got shared on The Shade Room, who are in the business of job recruitment now:

Below the Instagram post, 21 Savage commented, “That’s why I’m working on my private now.”

Back in May, the Grammy Award-winning rapper told Jimmy Fallon during a game of “True Confessions” that he was mere hours away from getting his pilot’s license. He said he’s hoping to get certified in California, where he’s been taking lessons.

“Probably two years. I wanted to be in the Air Force when I was young,” said the rapper. [But] I’m not flying like big planes, just single-engine planes like propeller planes.”

I bet 21 Savage makes way more than $247 an hour whenever he gets up to work. On the other hand, Ludacris did it:
